Registration for the 2021 Storm is now full. Should capacity restrictions allow, we will try to bring more teams on. If you wish to be added to the waiting list, contact us with the details of your team (number of team members, which course you wish to register for), and we will contact you if space becomes available.
Thank you all so much for your interest in racing with us! Registration for the Storm 20th anniversary edition opens on Tuesday at noon! Visit https://conta.cc/3tLXsId if you didn't receive yesterday's newsletter update. We can't wait to see you again this Fall!
Teams that deferred their 2020 entries may now confirm their registration for the 2021 event - simple go to the 2020 Deferrals page and follow the instructions shown. If you did not receive the announcement in your inbox today, you may want to have a read just for context - click here to access it.
Registration for all other teams will open on March 23rd - watch for an additional announcement coming shortly! Can't wait to see you all in September! 2021 racer information packages for each of the Hike, Trek and Trek Elite courses are now available. Given the many changes we've had to make in this unprecedented year, these documents have been very carefully drafted to make the Race Weekend operations as clear as possible for teams. Sections 2 and 3 are particularly important reading, but all the usual notes around course details, accommodations options, mandatory gear and Race Day itineraries are also provided throughout.
Welcome to the 20th anniversary edition of Storm! All of the details for the 2021 event are now available on the Race Details page, and we will continue to post updates and further info in the months ahead. Can't wait to see you again next year!
New for 2020 is the addition of an optional masters category for both teams of two or four in each of the Hike, Trek and Trek Elite events. The master category will be open to teams on which all team members are ages 45 years or more. Gender sub-categories among Masters teams will be offered only when there are at least 2 teams per gender class.
This is an entirely optional choice however - teams may still opt for the regular "open" categories if they choose. The option is provided at the point of registration. |
